Attack Speed is a prefix that turns up on Main Hand and Head. It gives Attack Speed: +2% to +3% at its lowest step, +25% to +32% at its best — and you need item level 116 before the best one can appear at all.

It comes up at weight 6 when the game rolls affixes, never doubles up with another affix that does the same job (attackSpeed), and it is what puts Quick, Nimble, Swift, Rapid and Blurring in an item's name — so you might pick up a Quick Wand.

37 Uniques lock it to a fixed number: Gatebreaker, Riversong, Mercy, The Squall Knife, The Duelist's Needle and The Unbroken Sentence and 31 more.
