The Cold Draft is a pair of Demon Unique boots with no boss attached: it drops anywhere in Hell, most often from H7 up (rarer below that home difficulty, never above it), and nowhere else. Every copy is item level 110, and there 0.2% of what falls comes up Unique. It is built on Exalted Veilwalker Boots — step 6 of the Veilwalker Boots line, item level 80 and up.

It always rolls the same numbers: +68 Ward, +6% Move Speed, +327 Maximum Health, +45 Ward, +8% Movement Speed, +45 Magic Defense, -48% Dash Cooldown, +17% Movement Speed and +36% Affinity Resistance.

One Unique drop in 40 is a Mythical copy: the same item carrying 15–25% Mythical Energy that boosts every stat on it and can never be changed; the 15% floor is 10 times as common as the perfect 25%.

On top of that it carries The Cold Draft — Phase Step carries 3 ticks farther and applies Chill to everything you pass through, but recovers 30% slower.

It leans into Chill.

Wearing it hands you Phase Step.
