Lingering Form is a rare major card out of the New mechanic pool. Your abilities gain Duration where they can. Its statuses last 10% longer.

For status Specials — longer effects mean Venom rides longer, Chill meters hold and Burns keep ticking. It shapes the slot toward persistence and locks out the other forms.

You can take it once · it only turns up when your Special ability can actually use it · it can be offered for 12 of the 34 abilities.

Only one card can reshape that ability this way — this one, or Echoed Form, Echo Pulse, Crushing Blow, Vast Form and Longshot Form. Take one and the rest are gone for the run.
