Uniques/Main Hand/Moorwraith's Third

Moorwraith's Third is a Nightmare Unique sword with no boss attached: it drops anywhere in Nightmare, most often from N5 up (rarer below that home difficulty, never above it), and nowhere else. Every copy is item level 100, and there 0.3% of what falls comes up Unique. It is built on Sovereign Moorwraith Sword — step 6 of the Moorwraith Sword line, item level 80 and up.

It always rolls the same numbers: +76 Power, +8% Attack Speed, +5% Melee Lifesteal, +82 Power, +9% Attack Speed, +36% Melee Damage, +11% Power, +36% Void Damage and +11% Critical Chance.

One Unique drop in 40 is a Mythical copy: the same item carrying 15–25% Mythical Energy that boosts every stat on it and can never be changed; the 15% floor is 10 times as common as the perfect 25%.

On top of that it carries Moorwraith's Third — Crescent Chain applies Distortion and its finisher deals 60 points more, but every swing is 15% lighter.

It leans into Distortion.

Wearing it hands you Crescent Chain.

“It waits two swings, then it takes everything.”
