The Hollow Key is a Demon Unique wand with no boss attached: it drops in Adventure Mode once you are level 79 or higher, and keeps dropping there however far you go. Every copy is item level 84, and there 0.5% of what falls comes up Unique. It is built on Perfect Duskhollow Wand — step 6 of the Duskhollow Wand line, item level 80 and up.
It always rolls the same numbers: +44 Power, +13% Void Damage, +11% Void Damage, +15% Distortion Effect, +10% Power, +31% Distortion Effect and +31% Void Damage.
One Unique drop in 40 is a Mythical copy: the same item carrying 15–25% Mythical Energy that boosts every stat on it and can never be changed; the 15% floor is 10 times as common as the perfect 25%.
On top of that it carries The Hollow Key — Your Main attack builds Distortion.
It leans into Distortion.
Wearing it hands you Arcane Orb.
